Huh, Dahlal now has a costume called "Badriya." The one they've got available could probably be made to fit me; my cups would runneth over a bit but with the extra ribcage measurement I could make it work. Oh, and they're having a customer appreciation sale for those who have ordered from them in the past, so it would be even cheaper than the posted price, and since it's in stock there'd be no waiting. But I'm not sure if I can wear white--I don't mean psychologically, I'll try most colors for dancing, but aesthetically I'm not sure it would be all that flattering next to my pale skin. Any opinions?
There's also somebody on Bhuz selling a black velvet costume with lotus beadwork with measurements that would work that is pretty tempting, for what would be about the same price (though it would be used, and no guarantees really what condition it would be in). I should probably go for that one if I'm serious about buying anything now, but it's awfully hard to turn away from a costume that literally has my name on it :-)
Oh, wait--I think the one for sale at Bhuz might be the same as this one at Dahlal only without the Cleopatra accessories, so I could get one new for the same price, with bonus Cleo stuff. The lotus flowers were less fuscia and more blue on the Bhuz one, though.
