I think Keith Olbermann about summed up much of what I think about this country--rather, its administration--today, specifically today on  9/12.  I wish some of that would get through to those who need to hear it.  (video is nearly 9 minutes long, but well worth watching)

In random entertainment news, the same distribution company that handled The Passion of the Christ is also handling that speculative film about the assassination of President Bush.  A conspiracy-theory-minded person might have their head explode in trying to consider all the possible connections.  Also, Forest Whitaker is starring in the lead role in a biopic of Idi Amin.  I am sure he will be terrifying, especially after seeing him on The Shield this last year.

From their guitar player:

Hello,

Seven Sunless Days and Amber Spyglass are playing at the Mid East
Upstairs this Sunday (the 17th).

We are playing two new songs; one we wrote and one that we did not.
Though the song that we did not write got the SSD treatment. All the
joy that the song once had was carefully and cleverly replaced by
sadness and longing ;-)

We go on at 10 p.m. Amber Spyglass goes on after us. Hope to see
some of you there. Details are...

Sunday, September 17th
The Middle East Upstairs
Seven Sunless Days
Amber Spyglass
The Brother Kite

18+/$8/Doors at 9 p.m./SSD at 10p.m.
