There's an interesting Iain M. Banks interview in Salon today, in which he discusses Iraq, publishing and what it would take to make the Culture happen in the future.

Especially for mvoid, here's another article in Salon about how watching dog shows is the new hip thing to do. --  The crowd goes wild, shrieking and waving glittery signs that read "Pugs rule!" "Weimeraner's rock!" "My dachshund is bigger than your dachshund!" and "My dog ain't no pussy!" --

Fake sushi is kind of overplayed, but this candy sushi is pretty clever.

That's about all that's been of interest today, so far.

i feel that siberians tend to not do well in dog show because they are so obviously the best in wolftasticness that people feel they should give other dogs a chance... at least that's what i tell myself. ;-)

btw - my new favorite (well, second favorite) breed are the mini bull terriers... so cute!!!

Wow. Those are just like the Wonder Woman Underoos I had as a kid! I used to wear them with my rubber rain boots and make lassos out of clothesline. I had a C3PO set, too. I want the grown-up version, but not for $32.
