my compilation
Dec. 20th, 2004 09:55 pmSince so many others are posting their cd swap compilation* lists, I thought I'd post mine too. As M said, it's eclectic, but it has Badriya Z written all over it. The theme was just songs (or songs from albums**) that I really liked a lot this year. Not all of these were brand new this year, but they were brand new to me.
*for readers who wonder what that means, a group of my friends have an annual mix cd swap. It's very fun and a great way to learn about music.
**in the case of some of the Arabic stuff, my real favorite song on the album was likely to be up to 20 minutes long, so I put a shorter but also lovely piece on instead.
What a Rare Bird: songs enjoyed this year by Z
