According to The Muppet Newsflash,

Muppet Studios is currently planning a prime-time Election Special starring the Muppets. This all-new television special will air in November 2008, just in time to coincide with the 2008 presidential election.

I'm guessing Sam the American Eagle will be a McCain supporter...
