I missed last night's audition show and I don't think I'll have time to watch it, but looking online I really liked these two performances:

Evan Kasprzak's Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals routine--I felt happy for him when he got that compliment from Nigel:

Uma Thurman-look-a-like Kourtni Lind's evocative piece to a Lydia-Lunch-ripping-off Ani DiFranco song.  The feet killed me:

I liked the tap dancer and the popper from Boston, too.

I dislike the who 'Musical' genre but he did an excellent job.
I didn't like Kourtni's routine. It was technically proficient but... meh.

I really liked the tap dancer "I mean I auditioned before doing modern, but I'm a tapper!"

Least deserving person sent to Vegas: the mediocre popper who cried.

Those were my top two, or in my top three, for sure! Very good. I wasn't seeing Uma, but her and her mom were twins!

There were two tap dancers, I was shocked the first one made it--heavy, clunky, bad posture--and liked the second one a lot, fantastic with her duct taped shoes. Not sure which was the Boston one.

I can't believe there are 2 more hours tonight. Oy!

I am teaching tonight, so the dvd-r will also work it's magic here.

Wanted to edit my above post--the first tap dancer was not physically heavy, would not have mattered if she was. Her feet were heavy. :)

Did you see the minister guy who they stopped and asked if he found his dance partner attractive, and if so to act like it? When it came out after the dance that he was doing a choreography based on Solomon and reigning in desire it was like...whoops. Uncomfortable! I liked him, he seemed way intense, but probably should have auditioned solo.

Eep! I didn't know the show was on Wednesday night, and apparently neither did my Tivo. Have there been any other Wednesday night showings of SYTYCD?
