red sox superstitions
Oct. 20th, 2004 01:13 pmMy friend/co-worker Kelly was one of the people featured in a Globe article about superstitions people have regarding the Red Sox--Channel 7 news called her today and asked her to do an interview. So she's gone home to be interviewed about her Wally mascot and other superstitions she has, and should be appearing on the 6pm news.
I actually saw most of the 9th inning last night, because as M and I were channelsurfing we saw all the riot police gonig out on the field. That's something you don't see everyday, so we kept watching. I didn't see the end of the game, but I could tell Boston had won because I could hear our (college-age) neighbors screaming as they ran up and down the street. I won't be watching tonight's game though; I'll probably be watching Lost, which is much better than one might have expected, although it wouldn't be as good if it didn't have Terry Quinn.
I can't stop eating chocolate. The office is calm today--in fact, everybody but me and the guys putting holes in the basement floor has left--but if it were less calm then I would be too busy to eat chocolate.
