Shimmies for a Cure, this Saturday, March 29

By special request, I’ll be performing a zar, along with some good old Saidi and a haunting taqsim.  I'll be on roughly around 8:30.  *Samantha* and Baseema put on a really good show, I guarantee a great time will be had by all!

Performances 6:00pm-9:00pm  $25 in advance, $35 at the door

All proceeds go to the Pan Mass Challenge. The PMC raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The centerpiece of the fund raising effort is an annual bike-a-thon that crosses Massachusetts.


The cost of the hafla includes:

• 20 performances by the most talented dancers from around New England
• non-alcoholic beverages hot & cold yummies with a Middle Eastern and Greek flair
• chocolate fountain with dippers for your sweet tooth
• Free Parking!

There will be a cash bar for those wishing to partake in a little "spirit". (Proceeds from the bar do not go to Shimmies for a Cure but will make the venue happy.)
