I chanced upon this story about Andrei the Dog Boy, a 7-year-old child recently found in Siberia who had been raised by a dog. The closing sentence of the story is what gets me. One lives in a dog pack from the ages of 4 to 6, and the only after effect is that one sometimes dreams of dogs?

FeralChildren.com is an interesting site. I have no idea how much of it is "true" but from a folkloric standpoint it is fascinating.
