and other afficienados of Arabic music, I suppose--emusic.com has added all the Mezdeke albums!  Music galore!  (the Mezdeke albums are Turkish-produced, but consist of Arabic music, so don't be surprised that the content doesn't match the covers)

Productive day so far.  I made candles (scented with Dragon's Tears), did all my laundry, and did an hour or so of yoga.  I'd been feeling all knotty and not stretchy lately so I was surprised to find myself reaching just a little further than usual, twisting just a little more.  Maybe the knotty feeling had to do with moving into a new phase of things.  I can hope, anyway.  Now, dinner, and then party with rock stars.  People are being encouraged to bring musical instruments, so I'm bringing my big Zildjians :-)

Ye gods. I picked up one of the Mezdeke CDs from my local Turkish deli. It had five versions of the Macarena on it. Gack.

ha, they have that one at emusic too--luckily you can listen to little clips of all the songs before you buy anything. I literally sent my husband screaming from the room when the first version of the Macarena came on ;-)
