Somewhat frustrating practice session last night, but I think I needed to work through "stuff I know I will not want to do" to be more sure of what I do want to do. I swear every cane move I have ever learned completely fled my brain when my cane music started for the first time, but by the time I left it was going better. Another practice session booked for tonight. I think I have a good mental map for my music now--not a choreography per se, but just a feeling of security about which parts come after what. I'm using music that I know pretty well, but edited in some cases heavily, so I had a false sense of security about knowing the music.

I'm afraid that I'm getting ill as all my joints ache. Illness is not allowed until 4pm on Sunday. Make a note of that in your calendar, illness. The most important thing will be making sure that I get enough sleep the next couple of nights. Really sucks that the hot weather is rolling back in when it is.
