youtube comments
Jul. 23rd, 2007 10:32 pmI am suddenly getting a bunch of spammy comments on my Ad Mortem Festinamus video on YouTube--not any of the other videos, just that one. I'm guessing that maybe it's because it has over 5,000 views (!) so it's triggered the spambots to go after it. I have to approve comments before they are posted so I'm easily able to remove the comments before they go public, but it's a bit of a pain, I'm getting a couple every day. Is there any way to fight this?
Some of them make me laugh--why on earth would I approve a comment that says "this is boring, cum see real naked girls at xxx website"? Though if it's bots that are posting the comments, I suppose they don't know that the comments aren't automatically getting posted.
