From boingboing--very evocative artwork by Thomas Allen, who cuts illustrations out of the covers and interiors of books, particularly pulp fiction paperbacks, to create tableaus that also utilize the books themselves.  I think my favorite is "Stacked."

I dreamed last night that there was a ring-tailed lemur in our apartment scratching holes in the window screens and I was worried that the ferrets (all the ferrets I've ever owned, I think) were going to be able to get out.  Bad lemur!
