Today I am wearing Suspiro, "A Latin work that means to sigh or draw a deep breath, that also suggests longing, desire, yearning and a passionate wish. Ylang ylang with white plum, white orchid, jasmine, calla lily and lily of the valley." Mostly I am longing and desiring not to smell like this--all these light fruity floral notes are so completely not me. It's not that it's a bad perfume--well, it does kind of remind me of Aqua Net, actually. I didn't order this one, it was thrown into an order as a freebie. If you are a lily and jasmine sort of person and don't have strong Aqua Net associations, you'd probably like it, but I am not you.

I think my opinion on this whole Mooninite thing is that everybody involved in any way should have known better. Even some simple commonsense decisions along the way would have made a world of difference to how things went down. The artists/constructors should have put some identifying label on their pieces. Their employers should have known better than to ask people to do illegal things. T employees and the police should have noticed these things when they first went up. Kudos to the police officer who recognized the character, though.

Also, call me a prude but I don't think it's cool to have little cartoon characters giving people the finger planted around the city. It can be funny in the context of the show, but otherwise it's as juvenile as the pissing Calvins and frankly makes me not want to watch a show that I do actually find entertaining.

I think this perfume is making me cranky.
