I was going to do this meme because it sounded fun:

"Go to www.popCulturemadness.com and select the year you became 18. Snip the top songs from the list and paste it in your journal. Bold the ones you liked; strike the ones you disliked; and italicize the ones you know but don't exactly like nor dislike. The ones you don't know will stay common text."

But I didn't feel anything stronger than apathy for any of the hits the year I turned 18.  Still don't, actually.

For memes like this, there's rarely anything I feel strongly enough about to go through the annoyance of formatting everything as requested.

I looked at the list for 1988. There's some good stuff there, like "Under the Milky Way," some Cure songs that aren't their best, an REM and U2 track or two I like well enough, and lots of stuff that fails to move me.
