I first remember seeing you at a mix-tape party at cris's old apartment in Brookline. You were wearing a purple Illig pull-skirt.

However, I believe I must have seen/met you when I met your husband at the guitar exhibit over a year before that.

I think we were started talking at a party at silentq's. You brought up bellydancing.

i met you and Mr Badriyaz at one of jasonlizard 's parties back at the goth shelter. can't for the life of me remember which one though. i remember thinking you had very striking eyes. :)

We met on the Ferret Mailing List, and then you moved in with me.

The day you came to look at the place in Brighton, you were wearing a Billie Holliday t-shirt and black shorts, the same outfit you wore to repaint your room before you actually moved in.

It was all very awesome, and it still makes me happy.

of course I remember :-) but can you believe I'm still on goodson? mostly now it's "nocturama sucks!" "no it doesn't!" "how can any nick cave fan say that? you suck!" "oh yeah? you're a stuck up bastard who lives in the past! you suck!" "no, you!" "no, you!" ad nauseum, repeat all over again in a couple of weeks.

My first real memory was after you won my tape at the tape swwap at heatray and brigid's place. The tape swap intimidates the hell out of me, having so many musical friends and not being so well versed (or owning as much goth industrial) as others. But you got my tape which had the sexy side and the silly side, which you later told me you loved, because it was filled with muppet songs on the silly side, and I was so happy you liked it.

Later on I realized just how silly and muppet-friendly you are, and how appropriate it was that you got that tape. :)

I met you at your Y2K New Year's Eve party. I remember thinking that you were all beautiful and silvery and sparkly and you were very happy talking about your upcoming wedding to M.

It is altogether possible that I'd crossed paths with you years before at Chicago, but I think I'd remember you pretty clearly if I'd actually been introduced to you.

it is kind of funny that we never met, but I hung out mostly with anthropology people, I guess. I did manage Cobb Coffeeshop and the little one in Harper Tower for two years and spent a lot of time in Cobb especially, so I bet we did actually cross paths at some point or another :)
