or, proof positive that I could be enthralled listening to Blixa Bargeld read the phone book. Here one may find a series of German television ads (oh yes! quel sellout!) that Blixa Bargeld did for Hornbach, which I believe is a Home Depot sort of place in Germany. He is reading selections from their catalog, about things like drills and salpeter and something to do with cement, and it is utterly precious. I swoon, I really do.

Ordinarily something like this would rather bother me, but it is too entirely appropriate for Blixa to be doing promos for that kind of store, and hopefully they are giving him a good deal on air compressors and such ;-)
