Apr. 13th, 2006 01:55 pmSeti tried to steal my dance cane last night. It was insanely cute, the three pound ferret grabbing the end of the cane with his teeth and attempting to run with it :-)
Worked on my meleya and cane stuff last night. Sadly, there's just not enough room in my living room for the meleya; it takes up more room than a veil and with the paillettes on the edges, it hits hard when it collides with stuff. I'm afraid of scratching the tv screen too. I love dancing with it, though. Such sassy fun!
Phones are still out at work, although we are told by Verizon we are a high priority. It would be better if the phones worked, but I have to admit it's kind of peaceful without them. Right now nobody else is here so the music is playing, and I don't have to worry about jumping for the volume before picking up the phone, because the phone does not ring.
Lost made me all snuffly last night. Also, it was nice to see Scorpius getting some work.

Date: 2006-04-13 07:13 pm (UTC)Friend of mine had a ferret she named "Torpedo." That's because when let out of his cage, he zoomed right under the couch or other concealing object, where he'd zoom out at unpredictable times to bite your ankles. He was definitely Terror From Below.
You know, my geek sense must be out of commission because I only now just recognized your icon.
