Seven Sunless Days on Saturday

Seven Sunless Saturdays? Anyway, most of you locals probably don't need the reminder, but just in case:

Seven Sunless Days, with new member mvoid, will be playing at the Zeitgeist Gallery on Saturday, Dec. 10 shortly after 7pm. It's such an early show that you could catch them and then go out for dinner, go see Narnia, go get your dance on, whatever you do on a Saturday night afterwards. You have no excuse not to go, really ;-)

I'll write more about it later, but last night at the Athenian Corner went really well and was a lot of fun. We'll be doing it again; even the band was really into the whole tag team thing and they enjoyed the show as well.

I was supposed to go have tea with my mom today; i made it as far as Mass Ave, took note of the half block visibility, and turned around and went home. Sometimes nature is just not to be outwilled.

Well, that was heavy.

The sky cleared as we shoveled, so we enjoyed a beautiful peachy orange sunset to the west. Either that, or the rest of Arlington was on fire, which wouldn't seem that far out of the question given all the other things that have happened today but I sincerely hope was not the case. M and I are kick ass as a snow shoveling team; we did everything in slightly under an hour. Go us!
