There's an interesting Iain M. Banks interview in Salon today, in which he discusses Iraq, publishing and what it would take to make the Culture happen in the future.

mvoid, here's another article in Salon about how watching dog shows is the new hip thing to do. -- The crowd goes wild, shrieking and waving glittery signs that read "Pugs rule!" "Weimeraner's rock!" "My dachshund is bigger than your dachshund!" and "My dog ain't no pussy!" --
Fake sushi is kind of overplayed, but this candy sushi is pretty clever.
