alonewiththemoonNote to self: when last minute picking a drum solo, do yourself a favor and pick something nice and predictable and safe. Don't assume just because a drum solo is short that it is straightforward.
Sigh. Well, what's burned is burned, and I'd rather not pick another one now. I do really like the drum solo (Bint al Baladi, by the Upper Egypt Ensemble). I think for this performance I'll be taking a hagallah or three up and down the aisles to kill time--people do like that, so I know it will go over well. I just know I could do more...
