I just posted this as a comment in rojagato 's journal, but thought I'd share here, too:  <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonnodotcom/sets/72057594062966941/">Krewe du Vieux's (and others') satirical Mardi Gras floats</a>.  There is some cartoonish naughtiness, so perhaps not entirely worksafe.  I especially like the float that asks France to buy back Louisiana...
