alonewiththemoon | question for Firefox users

Is anybody else using Firefox 1.0.3 under windows xp having trouble with it? After the upgrade installation from whatever the previous version was, it worked fine for a few days at home and at work, but now when I open the program on either computer I just get a blank white window and I can't use any of the menu commands or type in the URL line. It's still working for M as of last night in his profile, so I thought maybe it was an extension issue as he's not using any, but I uninstalled and re-installed it at work, which I think should have taken away any extensions, and it still doesn't work. I can use Firefox in its safe mode, but it's a little pokey. Firefox help forums weren't exactly helpful. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated...
