Date: 2005-04-27 11:05 pm (UTC)The Mickey Mouse "cave paintings", and the white-washed buildings on which they are painted, remind me of the leering Mickeys and Donald Ducks that were painted on the gay bars on the beach in Tangier. That's pretty jarring, but it's a detail I hadn't remembered.
