I dearly wish those two boxes of Gril Scout cookies over by my backpack would stop staring at me.  I have willpower, I do, really!

where the hell have all the girl scouts gone? it used to seem like 2 or 3 times a year. someone would be trying to sell me GS cookies. now I can go years without tasting a caramel delight (didn't they used to call them smoores?). did wednesday addams eat all the girl scouts?

I want my thin mints, dammit!

I bought mine from my co-worker, whose daughter is a Girl Scout. I don't think they allow them to go door to door any more, but you can often find enterprising scouts with tables set up in places like Government Center or Alewife T station. The ones at Alewife pretty much mug you as you exit the turnstiles, making you run a gantlet of hysterically yelling girls waving boxes of cookies around. If I see any, I'll let you know...

but they're such a rare treat, just once a year... I've promised myself I can have some cookies after class tonight. The rest are going in the freezer, I swear!
