I was very disappointed with it...

It was definitely a bit of filler, but there were so many interesting things. Apart from the backstory we got on Kate, we also saw that she is someone who can just shimmy up and down trees, can peg someone with a rock hard enough to make them limp just from hearing their location, has very sharpened senses in general, can shoot to disable, has a mean headbutt, can deal with rotting corpses, and all in all seems hella overtrained for something. Like say a crash on a jungle island. The number of the safety deposit box her toy airplane was in just happened to be the flight number of their crashed airplane...

And then there was Sayyid's skillful manipulation of Shannon, and Jack and Sawyer both seeing through Kate, and Sun now knowing there's guns and ammo on the island--all kinds of stuff. It was an appetizer really.

i missed the bloody beginning AND i also missed the last couple of episodes from the last season. so i have NO BLOODY IDEA what is going on.

also i think sawyer is hot. no really. he's so hot.

If you missed the beginning then you will be very sad to know that you missed Sawyer swimming half-naked and then lounging around in tight, wet jeans ;-) He is a hot one. But I think Sayyid trying not to be discombobulated by a mostly naked girl while making puppy dog eyes at her is hotter!
