I was saying to nepenthe01 about your performance, that you've always had what I consider to be a strong stage presence.
But it's been really great to see that already strong stage presence grow and develop over time. On Sunday with this latest performance you were just 'on'. You arrived on stage and it was like you were lit from within. It was like a subtle switch had been flicked. You commanded attention. It was really amazing to perceive.
As I'm a SCAdian, I've seen scores of what I consider to be highly skilled and more then proficient belly dancers. The ones that really hit the top tier for me are the ones who can move past being proficient into being fully expressive of their emotions, with their face and something intangible more. I honestly think you are hitting that level. Your joy of dance is obvious.
