The sun is shining on me and it would be so easy to fall asleep.  But no!  I will be strong!

For the first morning in who knows how long, waking up wasn't excruciatingly painful.  I only got about 7 hours of sleep, but it was solid quality blessed sleep.  I think I had the perfect air temperature to covers ratio, and I had almost no anxiety dreams.  I did dream that I was on a bus going to Lechmere so that I could buy some fabric at Sew-Lo, but the huge oil refinery near Lechmere was blown up by terrorists who had flown a spaceship into it.  I got to see this all very cinematically--the white oil tanks and pipes, the blue sky, the dark metal spaceship and the fiery explosion.  The bus driver kept insisting that he was going to Lechmere anyway, instead of turning around and getting us all out of there.  I stayed on the bus, figuring that since I wasn't dead, I might as well pick up the fabric I wanted.  I think the fabric was for some troupe costuming.  There is, of course, no oil refinery near Lechmere, but it was a little disconcerting this morning to see headlines on the Globe and the Metro warning about the hypothetical consequences of terrorist attacks on LNG facilities in Everett, pretty much just across the water from Lechmere.

In other news, tile nippers are supercool.  I could nip tiles all day long.  Operation Homemade Christmas Gifts looks like it might actually be finished by Christmas.
