In the parking lot at Alewife, there are some spots labeled "Moppets Parking Only" for patrons of the Moppets Daycare Center. But the stenciled letters always look to me as though they say "Muppets Parking Only" and every day I hope that I will see Fozzie's Studebaker or the Electric Mayhem's van parked there.

I think I accomplished barely a third of the things I wanted to get done this weekend. I danced and did laundry and baked a lot of stuff and saw the highly recommendable Invincables and ate good Indian food and went grocery shopping, but I also wanted to get started on building a costume bra and making the mosaics I'm supposed to be giving as xmas gifts and more dancing and maybe some housecleaning. There's the long weekend coming up, but that's already seeming full with plans. At least I will for sure have Friday afternoon for getting stuff done while M is at rehearsal. I wish I could remember why he doesn't have rehearsal on Sunday as usual, though, because it's probably because of something I'm supposed to be doing too.

I wonder if anyone would notice if I worked on mosaics at work...

When i was pre-K age, i used to sit at the window for hours waiting for the Muppets to come visit in their bus. When they didn't come, i'd cry, and my poor mother had no idea how to make me feel better. "The Muppets aren't real and they're not coming to see you" just didn't seem the tactful phrase, i guess.
