Interesting Nick Cave article in Salon today. I think that the author and I share a very similar outlook on the newest album(s). Apart from that, it's a great example of thoughtful music journalism.

Also, it contains the best one-sentence summary of Nocturama ever:

"Last year came "Nocturama," a sloppy, indifferently written record that replaced overthinking with thoughtlessness and was easily the worst that Cave had ever made."
