OMG I am so sick of putting mortite and plastic on windows.  It will be so worth it when it's done, but I'm ready to scream.  My fingers hurt from squishing mortite.  At least I found a beer in the fridge, that helps.  One more room to go, I can do this...

We only plastic one room (that has crappy windows and we heat) and it's such a pain in the ass.

You know, one thing I looked forward to with this new house ~ new to us, and new to the world (it was finished a little less than 6 years ago and we were the first owners) ~ was that I wouldn't have to deal with Mortite or the plastic stuff.

Well, I don't really have anywhere the Mortite will help, and I don't have window frames (just modern drywall corners!) so there's nothing to stick the plastic to.

Oy.

Double insulated glass and insulation on the cheap and heating routed between the outside framing is keeping a nice cool breeze on me at the moment...

I think my next house might need to be an old drafty one ~ at least I'd be able to seal it up! =)
