The ART of Bellydance

Saturday, August 2nd
1-2 pm outdoors at Artists Row (between Front and New Derby Streets at the foot of Old Town Hall) in front of the Salem Arts Association Gallery. Free.

With roots in the ancient past, Bellydance is a contemporary cultural artform! From Egyptian to Tribal to Folkloric to Fusion--performances of many styles of bellydance in the heart of downtown Salem! Aepril Schaile, Badriya Al Badi'a, Karina Khan, Phoenix Avathar, Sabrina, Zehara Nachash, with emcee Memie-Ayat of the North Shore Northeast Belly Dance Association.

Darn! That one sounds like fun. :/ But I'm at motorcycle school that weekend. *sigh*

There is a Ferry that leaves from the Aquarium/N. End and goes right to Salem, for those who don't want to drive. :) They take bicycles too.
