That would be better, because she wouldn't understand what Rodriguez was telling her to do and thus not do it. Maybe he'll surprise me, but feh. And Rose McGowan, I'm sorry, the real Red Sonja could break her with a glance.

yeah I wasn't even thinking director - I was still on the "Rose McGowan? Huh?" and really, I couldn't get past that - except to remember that I wasn't too fond of the original Red Sonja either.

The really sad part, I'm having a tough time trying to think of a really kick ass actress - there is what's her name from Serenity River? - maybe (though I don't think she'd fit this part at all either....better than Rose though) and then I fall into the Buffy verse - though if they were willing to forgo the red hair Gina Torres could be awesome.

I think the part needs a solid strong woman, like Lucy Lawless although I don't think she'd do it. Or someone who might not be that physically imposing but has force of character, like Angelina Jolie.

The comics were very important to me as a small child. I bet you'd never guess it today ;-)
