I just don't get it

I am profoundly disappointed in Jim Marzilli.  I was very excited when he ran for my district's state senator, because politically speaking, he is one of the good guys.  Guess I'm glad I never walked down the same street.  When it was just one "he said, she said" case, it was easy to give him the benefit of the doubt, but now, not so much, particularly with a car chase on top of it all.  Why, why on earth, do politicians risk their entire careers for the sake of a little physical satisfaction?  It boggles the mind.

Yeah he sounds like a real maniac in the reports...running after women literally!

Sadly it sounds like he's quite ill--he checked himself into MacLean. I guess illness is a better reason for his behavior than conscious decision making :-\
