Do you have anything you can heat to put on your back? Even if its just a towel in the microwave? Feel better. *hugs* Hope the rest of your day is better.
I might see what I can scrounge--with stretching my back is doing better, but I'm unpacking boxes at work today so I keep aggravating it. I think it's the onset of illness sort of muscle pain more than overuse or damage muscle pain :-/ thanks for the wellwishes...
an ice pack would probably be a better plan if you've just strained it, but heat helps later too. my ribcage was spasming the other day. ther's a lot to be said for stretching. we are agetting old.
I think what helped the most was that I stopped moving heavy boxes around (our office moved kinda recently and we're still unpacking). That plus stretching definitely made things better, and today things seem okay, even after dance class (perhaps that helped). I'm just worn out after two weekends of workshops with two classes and rehearsals in between, so muscles aren't responding the way I'd expect them to ordinarily.
