Tim Gunn doesn't seem to have a Project Runway blog this season--I am verklempt! Nina and Malan's blogs are simply no substitute. Looks like an interested season, though. I agreed with the top two choices; I would probably have picked the other one as the winner, but that's because I'd be much more likely to want to wear that designer's outfit. Christian reminds me of the 21-year-old know-it-all insta-goth kid who shows up at the club from out of nowhere in exactly the right boots talking about the most obscure music and bemoaning what's happened to "the scene" as though he hadn't just arrived in it himself. There's no denying the talent, though. Elisa is crazy but I think I like her. The dress part of her dress was quite lovely. Kat Pistol's collection looked very cool and I liked her first outfit, I'll be interested to see what she does. I like Rami's classic elegance. I love that Chris designs for over the top drag queens. None of the others are that memorable so far. Also, I want a galabeya made out of the fabric Rickey used for his baby doll dress. You can see the various outfits here.
I think Seti ferret and I have the same illness. He seemed to be feeling better last night and his appetite is back though, so maybe I'll be ok soon too. I made a big vegetable casserole thing for myself last night, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, garlic and chipotle veggie dogs all chopped up and baked in green chile tomato sauce until done. I guess I made a veggie hot dog casserole, but it tasted better than it sounds. I will burn this illness out of me!
So much to do in the next three days, aieee!
