PSA: Jason is no longer at Liquid

yep, he's no longer at Liquid.  He's still in the Boston area, but is going to take his time picking the right salon for his next position.  He's promised to keep me posted, so I promise to keep you posted.  In the meanwhile, he suggests Wendy for color, if like me this leaves you at a loss.

He didn't want go into the details of why he left over the phone but said it was sordid, laughingly.  I have my suspicions.  But it doesn't sound like he's angry at the salon, especially not if he's still recommending other stylists there.  He even said he would call Wendy about my hair.  In a way that rather confirms my vague suspicions.

Sigh.  I suppose the nature of life is change, but I don't like inconvenient change!

i went to http://www.jamesjosephsalon.com/ recently to get my hair cut (long story) and i did love it there a lot. they seem pretty funky and more down with doing unique cuts and colors. i saw giovanni and he was awesome. pyara aveda in harvard square also does excellent color.

Wendy is quite good with color - her haircuts were ok - but I honestly only stopped going to her cause I hated going all the way to the south end.

wendy did a brilliant job with my hair colour and an ok job iwht my haircut. quite frankly i love my new hairstylist. she really looked at my face and came up with a style that worked for me that was different and softened me up. without the diva attitude.

Shag Shag Shag - I can't reccomend it enough. Sandy cuts my hair, I don't get colour byut my friend Sue does and it is BRILLIANT (I can't remember who she goes to there for it though)

I love the atmosphere, the funky cuts, the fact that every single person is nice and helps eachother (not political and catty like the other salons I've been to)
