Ugh, what a disappointing result.  Sadly I have to agree that based on the solos, Jesus was the one to go.  As soon as that stupid Romantics song started I knew he was in trouble, there's no dynamics to it.  But I don't think Neil is a good partner at all and is all around a weaker dancer.  Danny's solo was impressive, esp that bit where he came off the floor from lying on his back to standing up in one smooth lift, rolling over his toes in the process.  He must have toes of steel!

I don't think I agreed with cutting Jessi either--I thought Lauren should totally have been busted for leaving props on the stage.  So unprofessional.  And as a judge said, half her routine consisted of walking out to the floor.  But I would think that the producers were probably justifiably concerned about her health, and since her solo wasn't outstanding it was easy to cut her.

So Pasha and Sara will be partners, I assume.  That could be interesting, but I don't know.  He's so showboat, and she's so direct.  We'll see...

I completely forgot to watch last night, but that's sad for Jesus and Sara (who reminds me a lot of Curse's sister) since they really worked well off one another. :( The new partnership sounds like it could be awkward, but I hope they'll surprise us.

Yeah, we thought either Sara or Lauren would be cut. W. was not at all happy about Jessi being cut. I assumed it was a health/insurance/liability decision made by the producers. It was weird that they almost immediately told Jessi she was going home and didn't make all the girls walk the gauntlet of criticism first.

Oops, I already said this in reply to your other post, but I wlll say it again--Jesús! Nooooo! I love his dancing. It should have been Neil.

I have to say any of the women could have gone based on last night's solos, but I was not surprised it was Jessie. I would not have minded it being Anya, though.

Re: the Cha Cha Cha costume...I kept pausing the tv during their dance (yay tivo) and sketched the dress out. Total raqs costume potential.
