We watched A Night at the Museum last night--and I wholeheartedly, thoroughly enjoyed it.  I grew up hanging out at the Harvard Natural History museums and when I lived in Chicago volunteered at the Field Museum of Natural History, so I know what I am saying when I say that the movie perfectly captured the feel of a natural history museum, all the animal kingdoms and human history jumbled up into one big story together.  I defy anybody who has been in such a museum after closing to honestly say they've never entertained the thought of "what if it all came to life?"  It's not a brilliant movie really, but a very satisfying one.  I recall reading a review that praised the filmmakers for understanding what a big Hollywood movie should be in its pacing and so forth, and  I would concur.

Very much enjoyed the episode but I think what Locke did to Sawyer was pretty unforgivable.  Clearly he's been taking Ben lessons and I don't think that's a good thing.  And of course I am dying to know what Jack and Juliette are up to.

But more importantly, it only occurred to me much later to wonder--what the hell does Rousseau need that dynamite for?  The bizarreness of that scene in the Black Rock completely distracted me at the time, but what is she planning to blow up?!?!

I saw the movie on a flight home from SF a few months ago. I wasn't looking forward to it, but I actually found myself really enjoying the movie. I even LOLed at a few points.

I have to say that the Owen/Ben combo is really entertaining...if set in the right movie.
