[livejournal.com profile] iterum  mentioned a meme of finding a video on YouTube from the year you were born and posting it--I'm glad I did that on a whim, because this clip of Ella Fitzgerald singing Summertime in Berlin in 1968 is heart-stoppingly beautiful, and user chico75pi has an amazing treasure trove of videos.  Like this Mack the Knife from the same year!
