Hmm, I didn't realize how much my post sounded like a good opening line for a book or a movie about a reluctant saint... "God, I am so sick of the smell of roses. Another leper healed, another pair of crutches cast aside, but that damn smell permeating everything around me until I could choke on it..."
It sounded to me like the bitter musings of the single receptionist in the office accepting flower delivery after flower delivery on or near Valentine's Day.
But then, I've been watching The Office all night...
rose perfume is such a tricky thing! it's so easy to dab too much on and it's yourself that ends up getting overwhelmed by it. i have discovered that just dabbing the teeniest amount on each wrist is the way to go.
also i dilute it with water and spritz a little into my hair after i wash it. that way it's subtle but still smells great.
