Lost in the Fog euthanized :-(  At least this one wasn't a racing injury, just stupid cancerous bad luck.  Barbaro continues to do well, I keep my fingers crossed for him.

I seem to be grinding my teeth at night again, my left ear is constantly bothering me.  It feels/sounds like somebody poured pop rocks into my ear.  You know how a tense muscle has that sort of crunchy feel to it when you massage it deeply or make it stretch?  I think I am hearing the crunching and little fiber spasms of my jaw muscles.  I really wish this would stop, it's profoundly annoying. (edited to add: I am sure you were all very concerned, so I thought I'd let you know that I googled crackling in ear and found that this is probably caused by a swollen eustachian tube, probably due to the allergies that have been making my nose all snuffly the past few days. I am relieved to know that I am not grinding my teeth again!)

I had the same thing happen in my left jaw the day before yesterday. I can't stand it when you have to eat with that clicking going on :P Luckily mine went away relatively quickly. I hope yours is gone now too. Perhaps if it's not allergy related, you can try dropping your lower jaw and moving it around a bit to see if something's just gone temporarily out of whack?

I'd been wiggling my jaw in every direction possible ;) but one of the websites I looked at suggested breathing steam for clogged eustachian tubes. So I made myself a cup of I Love Lemon tea and inhaled most of it--this was yesterday afternoon, and the crackling hasn't come back since!
