alonewiththemoonI just got spam mail with the subject header "mortally washout." I think on Monday that might have terrified me, but I'm ok with it today.
I've been having such a hard time keeping the days straight this week, it's hard to believe it's really Friday. Having my dance bag with me makes it all the more confusing, but I remind myself it's because I have a Sekhmet rehearsal, not a class. I'm looking forward to the rehearsal, although I know half my brain will be on the recital tomorrow and also on the fact that I said I would bake some kind of dessert for the little post-party but I don't think I'll be home in time to pick up milk and eggs tonight. Well, if i have to I can always bring a bag of cookies or something. At least I don't have to do any sewing tonight! My shiny new skirt and gauntlets held up just fine through rehearsal last night and the skirt didn't seem as tight as it did when I first made it, so I think the fabric is stretching out a little as I had hoped it would. Though with the color and the shape, all I need is a scallop-shell bra to make a lovely mermaid. Hmm, that plus some cowrie falls and maybe some starfishes in my hair... File that away for future reference, should the right music ever pop up, maybe for an Oddville Vaudeville...
Ok, all of a sudden I have no trouble believing it's Friday, and I want out of here really badly. Must stay focused...

Just wanted to catch up with another Xena fan. ;) How've you been? Btw, do you still watch the show on DVD? Sorry we didn't get to chat more last time around.
