iterum  mentioned a meme of finding a video on YouTube from the year you were born and posting it--I'm glad I did that on a whim, because this clip of Ella Fitzgerald singing Summertime in Berlin in 1968 is heart-stoppingly beautiful, and user chico75pi has an amazing treasure trove of videos.  Like this Mack the Knife from the same year!

This may make sense to perhaps three people on my friends list if that, but after pouring through a whole bunch of the Arabic pop compilations on eMusic.com, I am mortified by how much I like the 4 Cats, who I suspect make the Spice Girls look like paragons of integrity and sophisticated musicality.
