Green Street Studios Community Concert
Apr. 19th, 2006 10:41 amI will be participating in the Green Street Studios Community Concert on May 5, 2006, 185 Green Street, Cambridge. This evening celebrating the various styles of movement and dance taught at Green Street Studios includes performances by:
Petre Petrov/Balkan Folk Dancing
Emily Randolph/Release Technique
Kodokan Martial Arts
Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp/Influx Dance
Najmat/Middle Eastern Dance <---- I'll be in this performance :-)
Dawn David Loring/Mosaic Body Dance
Marta Moussa/Polynesian Dance Arts
Shakti Rowan/Tribal Belly Dance <--- I think maybe some of you know her? I'm looking forward to seeing what she does
Jody Weber/Modern Dance
and, according to the flyer, many more. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $15, which includes a reception following the show. It's a bit pricey, but it is in part a fund-raiser for a very worthy cause. It should be a very interesting and entertaining evening, I'm looking forward to seeing all of it. Although "Influx Dance" prompts the instant word association "Reflux Dance" which sounds rather awful, but I'm guessing it's nothing like that really ;-)
( the rest of April in future review )
