These crispbread thingies are supposed to be tomato and herb flavored, yet they taste almost precisely like corn flakes.

Going to Artbeat tonight, if I stay awake until then (opted for dinner after workshop last night, got 5.5 hours of sleep). See some of you there, I hope...

Some Rasputina news

Perhaps others more collected than myself were already aware of this, but there is a new live Rasputina CD, including Melora's stage banter and jokes, available. It was recorded in Pittsburgh, Halloween 2004 and is available only at shows and at CDBaby. My copy is on its way. M will be pleased to know that it includes their cover of Barracuda. I am pleased to see Hunter's Kiss, among other favorites.

Also, Zoe Keating will be doing a solo show at the ever-so-atmospheric PA's Lounge in Cambridge on Sept. 2. She does loop stuff and sounds like many cellos at once--no distortion or anything, just pure cello. Sounds and video may be found at her website. I will try to make it to that.
