Pet Poison Hotline

Those of you with pets should know that Angell Memorial Animal Medical Center has launched a new poison hotline, especially useful in the holiday season:

1-877-2ANGELL

You can read about it in Angell's press release, but the gist of it is for $50 you get phone access to veterinarians who specialize in toxicology or have specializations in manging poison in animals, and they will do a follow-up consult with your vet if needed.  $50 is a comparable price to the other poison hotlines out there, and this one sounds by far the best for managing animal care.

Yesterday I saw a small bulldozer-steamshovel thingy cruising down Comm Ave with a bright little light hanging above the curled up shovel.  It reminded me of those deepsea fish with the lights to lure in other fishes.  I don't think I am describing it very well, but it was very cute.

Sunday and Monday I felt like a tremendous weight had been lifted off me, in the aftermath of finishing both December performances.  I did not have to rehearse!  I did not have to listen to the same piece of music over and over and over and over!  I didn't even have dance class on Monday night, since that class is over until January.  I did have dance class last night and felt reinvigorated and revitalized.  Today I am having a hard time sitting still--I want to be up and working on my next projects, I want more projects, I want to go go go!
