alonewiththemoonThere are otters in the Alewife Reservation!! Yay! I want to go looking for otters, perhaps I'll go during the DNC. I can't believe otters live a scant mile from my house!
Side note for people who regularly drive on Route 2 into Alewife--there is a fairly sizable deer population in the area behind Suisse Chalet, the old Faces club, etc. So keep an eye out at night for Bambi.

Date: 2004-07-22 07:52 am (UTC)though your comment is also funny, because one of the pieces of definitive proof of deer in the area was the discovery by birders of a half-decomposed deer corpse behind Faces. Not so yummy!
