Dec. 1: Lost Stuff, pretty spoilery (the text of a cut tag)
nov. 1: My eyeballs are going to fall out of my head.
Oct. 2: I finally finished watching the Bellydance Superstars Live in Paris DVD*.
Sept. 1: Excellent news--I just heard from the Northeast Belly Dance Association that they can front the money for a hall deposit, etc.
Aug. 1: The show last night at the Middle East went very well--my music choices went over extremely well*, and the tips were pretty good.
Jul. 1: Woke up in a terrible mood this morning, compounded by the air conditioner not really working* and M fretting about it while I tried to get 20 minutes more of sleep after my alarm went off (so much for the morning's planned yoga).
June 1: Those of you who saw Sexie may recall Eddie Izzard's number about being an action transvestite and the horse that took him from Mexico to Canada while filming Blueberry, a movie based on the French comic series--M astutely noticed that Blueberry is now available on DVD as Renegade.
May 2: A very dapper blue jay just appeared in the tree next to my office window.
Apr. 1: Posting partly for promotion, partly to get it straight in my head...
Mar. 2: Man I feel pukey.
Feb. 1: My Lemony Snicket calendar says: "Do you feel as if you are aboard a rickety trolley, racing furiously in the wrong direction? February is often like that."
Jan. 2: I went to the Peabody Museum at Harvard today to see an exhibit on Berber culture.

Fewer are about dancing than I would have thought.


A pair of pants that I bought on ebay about six months ago which were too small at the time now fit, and becomingly at that. Yay! They are beautifully tacky black on black leopard print stretch jeans. I feel so alterno-retro.
