They make enough day to day noise that I don't feel that guilty about disturbing them, it's just that I'd like some privacy for practicing. I guess I can look at it as practice for when I have a real audience, in a way...
Oh, I finished the skirt and gauntlets. At the moment I'm fetchingly dressed in sweatpants, a pogues tshirt and purple crushed velvet drapey sleeved gauntlets. Eventually I would like to add some beads and pailettes to the edges of the drape, but they will do just fine for now. Updated to add: hey, I just found purple paillettes in my collection of sparkly stuff! I'll add those on in a bit. I'm going to keep all the decor on the skirt and gauntlets purple, so that I can wear them with both my silver and my copper things.
